Since 2009
Wendy's Way & Smokey
After nine years, Wendy Jean Dunbar has won her battle with breast cancer on Nov. 29, 2005. The cancer is dead and Wendy will have eternal life and live in the hearts of her husband, Tom Wilczynski, mom and dad Dr. Don and Marilyn Dunbar, sister Pam Stinson and her children Leslie and Alex, brother Brad Dunbar and his girl friend Jennifer McIntosh, best friends Kelly Bradshaw, Beverly Wilczek, Bonnie Baumberger, Shelly Edwards, Tonya Terry and all others who loved her.
Wendy leaves a legacy of care giving, knowing how to share love and joy, and the greatest concern for animals. Her many talents will be missed as she showed all she touched the way to master many things.
Wendy was born Feb. 16, 1963, in Gillette, Wyoming. She graduated from CCHS and, with honors, from Parks Business College in Denver, Colorado. She modeled in Denver before moving to the Bay Area in California where she helped organize the opening of a new bank. She was their assistant cashier. She and Tom were married in Crested Butte, CO in 1990 and returned to Colorado in 1994.
Smokey's was originally formed by Tom W. as Green Medicals Wellness Center #4 LLC dba Cannabis Care in 2009 in memory of Wendy. Cannabis Care then re-branded in May of 2014 as Smokey's Cannabis Co. still carrying on the legacy of care giving, sharing love and joy and concern for animals.
Smokey's continues to honor Wendy's life through philanthropic efforts in our communities and helping local non-profits with donations from sales of Smokey's Stash Packs. Smokey's is also proud members of many local organizations that help reduce it's carbon footprint and promote safe adult cannabis use and alternative healthcare options for all.
