Our Quality

Quality Control is Essential.

Smokey's employs many techniques to ensure the highest quality cannabis for our wholesale clients. Smokey's quality control methods not only help you keep track of every gram of cannabis, but also ensures your guests get the cleanest high testing cannabis products available. Smokey’s checks and tests all of our cannabis products before releasing them to our customers. We stand by all of our products and offer a satisfaction guarantee.

Sampling our Cannabis

Samples are collected from each harvest batch so they can be submitted to a testing facility for contaminants (microbial, pesticide, metal), potency, and periodically research & development. We gather our samples following all MED & CDPHE rules exactly. We randomly obtain samples and blend them together in a stainless steel bowl to make one uniform sample.

Internal Quality Control

Smokey’s has years of fine tuning our process and developing a highly successful quality control program. When receiving cannabis from our trusted partners we thoroughly inspect all of the cannabis they send. We spend hours searching for any impurities or contaminants that may be present. Looking at anything that could potentially be harmful under a microscope to ensure only the cleanest processed cannabis is used to produce Smokey’s product lines.

Our check-in process.

When Smokey's receives flower from any one of our trusted partners, we carefully inspect every last bud and leave no leaf unturned. Part of our check-in process includes using a microscope to see all of the fine details and may lead to contaminated product. We inspect for mold, powdery mildew, bud rot, bugs, foreign objects.

Smokey's Trusted Partners

Becoming one of Smokey's trusted partners is a big deal. We have extremely high standards and only allow grows that share a similar vision of clean pure cannabis for our guests. We prefer to source material from other living soil/no till/organic grows that cultivate using the same/similar methods that we do. We look for high quality product that is grown in soil (no till, living soil, super soil, etc.), with no pesticides applied in mid to late flower (at a minimum - no pesticides are even better!), and limited use of synthetic nutrients (no more than 50% synthetic). Organic bottled nutrients are acceptable, but not preferred.
